Our educational kit series was created to help you understand how intelligent materials work, what are they made of, their limitations and how they can be used in practice. The aim is not to turn you into an expert but bring you up to date with the materials of the future.
Each kit includes samples of the relevent intelligent materials, instructions for experiments and a theoretical manual explaining the basic science behind each material.
Experiment with Chromoactive and Photoactive intelligent Materials
The included chromoactive materials are Halochromic, Photochromic, Thermochromic and Electrocromic that change their colour in response to pH changes, light, temperature and electric current respectively. The included photoactive materials are Photoluminescent and Electroluminescent that change their luminocity in response to UV light and electric current respectively. In total there are 9 experiments.
